You definitely don't pick your family you are born into. You have no choice for that mess and man do I have stories...
The one thing I know is, as you grow you create a family... a family that is not just related by marriage, blood, etc., but by friends and people who have inspired your life, completed your circle, helped you to be a better person. Supported your crazy endeavors with love and understanding, while telling you like it is if you need to hear it.. and you count on them, rely on them and know that no matter, they are always there and take great comfort in that fact.
That makes me happy and I am lucky to have such a family.

What Did You Find Under Your Bed This Morning.
Please be advised that if you click on my title, it will take you to a link!
Ok so I get these grand ideas to work on project and OMG what a job. What were these people thinking just coating more and more paint on the doors and moulding? They should have hired some Mexicans to do the work because they/we would have done a better job and I wouldn't be scraping 60 layers of paint, because I said so!
What's that? Yes my father was Mexican so I have a little of the Latina blood in my system..
Oooh that leads me to another song I really, really LIke.
La Tortura and This ONe
Okay that was more than one and I'm sure I can add alot more but that is it for right now.
So I went searching Google again for Melisa and Mexican.. and all I could really find is this.
All because I had to have a unique way to spell my name, done by my mother. Thanks mom.
Now there is a little bit of sarcasm there, not that I hate my name or the spelling but more like, I am always having to correct or fix my damn name. All these parents that want to make their kids names spelled different so they are unique should just look at their personalities and maybe take a little more stock in that! Whew that is done... I think I piddled.
Ok back to other stuff...
It is proper etiquette in Japan to put "-san" after another adult's name, or "-chan" after a young girl's name, or "-kun" after a boy's name, but never use these after your own.
So I am married to Andrew-san, my daughter's name is Brittany-chan and my son is Jared-kun.
Hmm, why does that make me hungry for sushi? Because I am a rebel, I am Melisa-san!
I have a strange obession with napkins..

See how that single napkin is posing gracefully as if saying, "Use me to wipe your dirty hands and face. Be clean, be clean."

How to Prepare and Eat Bacon
Why is my blog in the evening you ask..
That's right cause I had to send my daughter back to school. No, not because she doesn't cook, nor because she doesn't do laundry, nor because she is a lil gassy. No I sent her back becauseBeachHouse = LOVE
Now I didn't send her back because she wanted to go back and what an amazing opportunity she has attending that school. Please refer to the colorful line above.I am so happy to find my mission and I have been contemplating how can I define me. So again I search for me and google my name.. Melisa.. and what do I get...
MELISA® is the world’s leading test for hypersensitivity to metals. It is used worldwide by dentists and doctors to determine whether a patient is intolerant to materials commonly used in dental restorations or bodily implants.
How did they know that, sadly, I cannot wear earrings or piercings in other places (R.I.P Nipple Rings.. sniff sniff sniff) because my body does not tolerate metal jewelry well.
I have also been thinking, maybe I should add things I enjoy so maybe I can get to know ME better.
First I am starting off adding my favorite song to my blog. (psst... Click that blue sentence)
Thanks to a wonderful Brittney (not my cute daughter but another cute Brittney) I now have this song as my ring tone.
Now I'm gonna tell me a little about me. My father died when I was 10 months old... and I have been finding, for a period of time, he comes to me in the form of a hawk. So then I decided to look up hawk and it might relate to my name in Google Images and this is what I found....
Ok, none of those are me, or at least I don't think they are. I looked at each one and compared them to me in a the mirror. Shauncy says, "They ALL need a good a** kickin!"For the record, I don't know who Shauncy is either. So I think I am safe from harm.
